Ultimate Injection is the "injector side" of the business. We offer a complete and total fuel injector cleaning and flow testing service for your car, motorcycle, marine/boat as well as complete line of diesel injector flow testing & cleaning. Our experts will make sure your injectors are externally cleaned, visually inspected, and numbered. We Flow test your fuel injectors for resistance, shorts, and current draw. We perform leak test, inspect the injectors spray pattern and flow rate testing on our state-of-the-art Machine(s).
All injectors that come-in need to be paid for before service can commence.
We instituted this policy in 2024 to insure that moving forward we get injectors paid for before will service them.
Next, once we confirm we have payment for the injectors and we have all pertinent information we "Check-in" the injectors. This may include a email of- "We have received your injectors" or something to that sort. After that point, injectors are "In-Process" which could consist of SEVERAL cleanings. These processes can sometimes take a long time, when injectors are really bad. Know that once finished, you will receive an email with final results along with a report with your injectors.
As we just never know how "Bad" shape someone's injectors are that may be coming into us- Because of this the general answer we tell everyone is "a few days".
If you are just calling to check on the "status" of your injectors- Be assured we are working on them! they will be considered "In-Process" until they are completed.
You want to have a "balanced" set of injectors. They need to be within a few percent of each other. If they have a wide spread, you will experience a wide range of issues- rough idle, bad mpg, excessive emissions, poor performance, etc..
Injectors are critical in fuel control!
Instead of delivering the fuel via an injector in the intake track before the intake valve, GDI or gasoline direct injected engines inject a very fine mist of fuel directly in to the combustion chamber hence the name Direct Injection. Direct injectors operate at fuel pressures that vary between 450 — 3000 Psi. To achieve these pressures, the gasoline is pressurized by a high pressure fuel pump that is mechanically driven and electronically controlled.
When you have a diesel apart, so this is quite relevant to a lot of our diesel repair shops- The Return Flow tells us a lot of the internal wear on the injector. A High return Flow can rob pressure from the CP pump. Thus causing hard starts and drops in rail pressure. I.e. High Return Flow Rates are bad..
